International Student Ministry in New Zealand
New Zealand (Aotearoa) is known for its stunning natural landscape and rugby. You may have heard in New Zealand there are more sheep than there are people. That is true, but what you might not know is that New Zealand is a hub for International Students. There is a high number of students from China, India, and Japan, but this just scratches the surface of the different countries that are represented.
I am serving alongside of International Student Ministry of New Zealand (ISMNZ). Their mission is to make disciples of all nations. ISMNZ is a ministry that connects with international students across the country. They provide a home away from home for students as they navigate life in New Zealand. Students can receive help with the English language, create friendships, community, and a support group. The heartbeat of ISMNZ is to “help international students in New Zealand become life-long followers of Jesus Christ, equipping and enabling them to reach their communities and nations for Him.”
– Pray for the students we will connect with day to day.
– Pray for their hearts to hear the gospel.
– Pray for the leaders and volunteers of ISMNZ.
