Balassan Counseling and Medical Center opened in 2020 after the explosion at the Beirut port killed hundreds and left thousands wounded in our city and countless more impacted psychologically through trauma. It has continued to grow as the economic crisis in Lebanon combined with the continued Syrian refugee crisis and now with the war on its southern border has left people more and more desperate for medical care that is unattainable.
Balassan is one of the compassionate ministries of the Beirut Nazarene Church. We provide quality medical care, counseling, and holistic activities to enhance the health of our community and surrounding areas, and above all we seek to show them the love of Christ.
