My wife Nancy and I have been blessed to know Rob and Martine. We have watched them faithfuly serve our Lord and Savior. If I had to pick one word to describe Rob it would be passionate. We will continue to hold Martine, Caleb and Constance in our prayers.

We knew Rob & Martine since before they married. Our church, Eastmont Church in Bend Oregon has supported them along the way. We are so saddened to hear of the accident, thanking God that Martine is OK. We will continue to lift the family in prayer for the difficult days and months ahead.

Rob became one of my dearest friends as I had the privilege of growing with him in Christ and helping him join our WorldVenture family. I loved him like a son. In my note to Martine I included the Apostle Peter’s promise in 1 Peter 5:10. “And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”
Rob left a huge impact in his devotion to his family, zeal for Jesus, and commitment to the gospel. Because of Jesus, he is alive!

Glen and I grieve the loss of Rob. We had become friends over the past several years.

We will be in prayer for Martine, Caleb and Constance, as well as those who have benefited so greatly from Rob’s gifting and love for God; all who are reeling from this tragic loss.
