It is also to get youth involoved and you are close to University of Ireland in Galway so you a wonderful field of young people to reach out to. I grew up in Ireland many years ago and have made several trips back with my wife. We attend Faith Church in Auburn Massachusetts. It is a growing church with 29 baptisms since January. I am active on the Missions Committee, and also lead a Small Group of Seniors (70+) on a weekly basis to study the Bible. There are about 400 in the congregation and we have at least 23 different Small Groups to teach, minister and to love each other. It is a multi-racial congregation that truly love each other, We support a number of missions both here at home in our community and about 30 foreign missions several of whom are with World Venture. I want to encourage you to continue in your good work at Galway City Church. I have long prayed for peace and unity in Ireland and I believe it is in God’s plan to happen.

I know about the Mission field as I was with Wycliffe Bible Translators. I told God that I was available but I hated heat, humidity, and bugs. God laughed and had me go to the Amazon Jungle of Peru. It was a year long mission, but it taught me about culture shock and reaching out to a diverse community (23 tribes at that time). I want you to know I am adding you and the family to my prayer list.
