Staff Office Trainer – Administrative/Media

There are many ways to have an impact in this Medical Training business located in South Asia. One way that you could use your expertise in front office work and various aspects of media is to come and help train our local office staff to equip them to in their new positions. Our office and media staff will be new to their positions and our hope is that they would grow both in their confidence for the job itself and more importantly grow in performing these important tasks with a Christ-centered focus that helps the office speak loudly of God’s Love. Commit to 5-6 months on location.

REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in office administration, web design and management, social media, and videography/ editing or in only a couple of these duties, as this role can be filled by one or two individuals. You must have a love for people and be able to carry out your training role with clarity, patience and love.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Two local staff members will be working toward learning and improving their skills in front office work, website and social media design/ maintenance, networking via social media, and videography/ video editing. Depending on your expertise in these areas, this training role could be performed by either one or two people depending on your area of expertise. If social media and videography would be one of the training roles that you perform, please be aware that this role does require travel to rural training locations for marketing purposes. Our office staff will be proficient in English so language learning will not be a requirement for this role.
LIVING ENVIRONMENT:
Living conditions can vary depending on the needs of the individual. The accommodations in the city are fairly western but while traveling to the rural locations, much more rugged living and eating accommodations are available (ex- pit toilets, only cold water available, shared bedrooms…). The travel to the rural locations involves long days on rugged mountain roads and can include land as well as air travel.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
While training in the capital city, the work environment will be western, in a modern office. This role will involve training local staff members who are new at these types of skill sets. You will never be on your own as the work will always be done in close proximity to the expat founders. As stated above (Living Environment), the rural areas will involve travel and rural accommodations. This will also be done as a team, and you will never be expected to handle these situations on your own.
