Dewey Smith is going on a short-term mission trip to Japan. He will be serving at a church plant in Morioka for one month.
“I’ve been told it’s not going to be as structured as most mission trips are so I can’t give you a definite day-to-day plan. However, I know I will be serving under the pastor they have there, being discipled, and helping out with anything he or the church needs. I could be doing anything from youth and young adult outreach to helping with manual labor. I was told by the mobilizer in Tokyo that the pastor is very active and sometimes spontaneous so I could be doing anything. That being said, I thank you all for your prayers and support through this journey!”
